How to price your first digital product in India
Anchor on outcome, not effort. A practical framework with ₹ ranges that convert on UPI.
Price the outcome, not the hours
Buyers don't pay for how long a Notion template took you; they pay for the hours it saves them. Write down the single result your product delivers and price against that result.
For most first products, ₹99–₹499 is the impulse zone on UPI: low enough to skip deliberation, high enough to signal quality.
Use a compare-at price honestly
If you previously sold at a higher price or bundle items that cost more separately, show it with a compare-at price. Never invent a fake original price — buyers notice, and it erodes trust.
Run a launch window
Set a sale price with an end date for the first 72 hours. Urgency is real when the deadline is real, and Sellza ends the sale automatically.
